While we have been eagerly anticipating the grand opening of our facility, nothing is more important to us than the health and safety of our communities. With that as our top priority, we have decided to postpone the opening of Fit City Kids and all of our programs until further notice to help reduce the possible transmission of the Coronavirus (COVID-19). In the meantime, registrations for classes and summer camps will remain open and begin when it has been deemed safe for business to resume.
Here are some steps we are currently taking to help prevent this now and well into the future:
- We are diligently following guidance and best practices from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. More information can be found here https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-nCoV/index.html
- Although we have yet to be open to the public, we have increased our cleaning and disinfecting of all areas of our facility including all equipment and toys
- Moving forward we will be partnering with a cleaning company that uses a Betco Chemical Corporation disinfectant called PH7Q. This has very unique properties in that it is actually certified for the Covid-19 virus, and unlike most disinfectants that have a dwell time of around 10 minutes, PH7Q only has a 60 second dwell time.
